Applications are invited for the Reckitt Benckiser and Dettol Gyan Jyothi Scholarship Sitarganj (Uttarakhand)
This Scheme is instituted by Reckitt Benckiser to recognize and reward young Indian students in Sitarganj (Uttarakhand) with outstanding track record in studies (any streams Science, Arts and Commerce).
The aim is to reward Young Achievers (< 21 years) who have displayed a potential for higher studies with very good track record.
ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY POINTS:
i) The Award is open to Indian Nationals, domicile of Sitarganj (Uttarakhand), who are below the age of 21 years. Note - the award is for students studying in schools/colleges in Sitarganj area.
ii) Scholarships will be given for two classes and have been named as under -
RB 11 - 11th Class Scholarship
RB 12 - 12th Class Scholarship
iii) Details of RB 11 Students enrolled in 11th Standard (any steam science, arts or commerce) during the academic year 2009 2010 are entitled to apply for this scholarship. Students must have secured a minimum of 55% marks (45% for SC/ST) marks in Aggregate (Total %) in 10th Standard Board Exams. Additional weightage will be given to students who have scored high (above 60%) in Science and Maths in 10th Standard Board Exams.
A total of 25 scholarships will be awarded through the RB 11 program
iv) Details of RB 12 Students enrolled in 12th Standard (any steam science, arts or commerce) during the academic year 2009 2010 are entitled to apply for this scholarship. Students must have secured a minimum of 55% marks (45% for SC/ST) marks in Aggregate (Total %) in 10th Standard Board Exams.
